The Senate of Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, at its special meeting held on Thursday, 5th December, 2013  directed that the 2012/2013 Rain Semester should commence on Monday, December 9, 2013.
Accordingly, students of the University are hereby notified of this development and are expected to come into residence on Sunday, December 8, 2013 while lectures will commence on Monday, December 9, 2013
The obafemi awolowo university ile ife osun state has pulled out of the ungoing strike by members of the academic staff union of universities[ASUU]. These comes after a meeting of the senate of the institution.Students are to resume school on the 9th of december 2013..
